Low-friction navigation
Large gateway cards, fixed top navigation, and direct routes into the real sections.
This home page is now a map instead of a placeholder: a calm entry into sound, study, craft, and reflection. The tone is deliberate, the motion is light, and the paths are clear.
Each section is treated as a chamber in the same archive. Different material, different pace, same idea: depth over clutter.
Recordings, songs, maqam structure, and the living texture of tefillah.
Open Chazzanut →Shiurim, visual references, and the slow exactness of sacred writing.
Open Sofrut →Conceptual diagrams and pathways into deeper interpretive structure.
Open Kabbalah →Template website
Open Espresso →The visual system stays restrained so the archive feels intentional rather than decorative. Motion is reserved for arrival, not noise.
Large gateway cards, fixed top navigation, and direct routes into the real sections.
One IntersectionObserver, reveal-once transitions, and reduced-motion fallbacks.
Navy, midnight, and underwater light without turning the page into a novelty effect.
Chazzanut is still the deepest active collection, so the home page now treats it as the lead descent rather than burying it in a plain list.
It already carries structure: repertoire, authors, maqam, event context, recordings, and a song index. That makes it the most complete expression of the archive model.
The old minimal landing page is preserved exactly as an archive layer. The new home page handles orientation; the old one remains available for continuity.
The page uses a quiet reveal pattern and layered gradients so the movement supports reading instead of competing with it.
“The opening should feel less like a portal menu and more like the threshold to a study.”
“Knowledge and depth” is carried in the color system, spacing, and pacing before any text explains it.
Motion stays efficient: no heavy canvas, no scroll hijacking, no unnecessary layout churn.
