Yahrtzeit does not collect any personal data, does not utilize accounts sign up, and does not run a server for memorial data.

Memorial entries, notes, photos, dates, and burial details all stay local in the app on your device. The app does not make any network requests not required for functionality.

If you enable Apple iCloud features, Apple may sync supported settings through your iCloud account according to your Apple/iCloud settings and policy.

Optional permissions

• Calendar access is used to create and update yahrtzeit calendar events.
• Notifications are used to send reminders you enable.
• Location is used for sunset calculations. Precise location is not required.
• Specific photos/files are accessed when you choose to add images, or attachments, to your yahrtzeit entries.
